I guess it all depends on how long it has been since your surgery. As with any surgery, you should consult your doc about exercise. Most surgeons want you to exercise by "breaking a sweat" 3-5 times per week. This can be done by walking, doing water aerobics, etc. Anything that may be considered "strenuous" may have to be avoided the first couple of months after surgery. As your journey progresses, you should be able to do more and more as the pounds come off. I hope this was helpful..You can also visit www.obesityhelp.com as there are several forums there to help answer questions like this.
From what ive read yes. It will probably be a long recovery process.
Generally, diet and exercise are better for your body in the long run than weight loss surgery. But weight loss surgery can have benefits if you have very pressing medical concerns having to do with your weight. It also can be a benefit for those whose weight issues are psychologically linked, giving an extra boost of confidence that allows them to change their lifestyle.
It depends on how far you want to go, do you want to do it by exercise or do it by weight loss surgery? Doing it by exercise will take a while, but you take the chances of having problems with the weight loss surgery.
Recovery may take up to four weeks. Sometimes physical therapy of the hand is required after surgery to regain good use.
