Back when I applied for work at a huge corporate grocery emporium, I had smoked 3 days prior to my mouth swab. It came back clean with no problems. I've also heard from various other sources that you can smoke up to 24 hours before a swab.
I'd say 3 to be safe.

it will stay in ur system for around 6 weeks depending on the body.. and of course drinking alot of water and cranberry juice will help minimize the length of it in ur system... but it usually takes 4-6 weeks for it to leave ur body

There is no simple answer to this question. THC can stay in a person's body for as long as 3 to 90 days after smoking or being ingested orally. If you are a slim individual who smokes pot twice a month, naturally, you will be clean faster than overweight and heavy user.
