The name Hamster has been around for millions of years-it goes way back to Adam and Eve. According To the Christian beliefs, the Holy Bible says that God created Adam and Eve. And that he told Adam to name (create a name) every animal. God had all the animals there, and Adam made a name for each and every animal. Which means Adam made a name for the hamster which is obviously the "Hamster"! No one in the world made it- (Except for Adam) In the past maybe 20 years or so, the name has been around for millions of years since Adam and Eve were created.
