No, Edwin Hubble had nothing directly to do with the Hubble Telescope, it was named for him because he profoundly changed the understanding of the nature of the universe. Hubble died before the the physical exploration of space began. Hubble also created his own Hubble telescope back in 1929 but it is not the orbiting Hubble telescope.
