a hormonal imbalance is when your body doesn't have the right amount of hormones. a women has a lot of estrogen and a little amount of testosterone. witch are hormones, a man has a lot of testosterone, and a little amount of estrogen. these hormones basically are the way your emotions work and your sexual emotions work when your body has an imbalance it will effect they way you feel about life many get very aggravated and depressed some become suicidal as well.
It can just simply mean that you have less estrogen produced during this period and so your breasts will not feel tender. It is perfectly natural so don't worry.
That's the testosterone and estrogen rushing through your body.
