The word its' does not exist. "It's" is a contraction of it is. If you can use the words "It is" and it still makes sense, "it's" is correct. "Its" is a possessive meaning something belongs to it. "A dog scratches its nose". If you use "A dog scratches it's nose".....You are actually saying "A dog scratches it is nose"....nope. Doesn't make sense.
