∙ 12y agoTHC is fat soluble which means its dectectability in saliva(more watery sunbstance)has a fairly small window.depending on amount of ingestion and personal metabolism it can take anywhere from hours to 4 days at the most.This is why its a great tool for DUI and on the job testing.As far as urine though it can take anywhere from 3weeks to a month.Because it is fat soluble it gets distributed over a short period of time into the blood stream and urine as you burn fat.Now if you want to assure yourself about this information then I have a simple suggestion for you.Contact an actual lab where they conduct these tests and ask them about the pros and cons of testing for THC in saliva.Say your a concerned parent thinking of testing a child.Its not rocket science.lol.Either way if you have 5 days to a week to sustain you should be ok.
