Whether or not a person who impersonates a police officer will serve time in jail, depends on the state and the circumstances of the impersonation. For example, a person who dresses up like a police officer for whatever reason, probably won't get much if any jail time. However, if that person not only dresses like a police officer, but attempts to act like one by stopping cars, making arrests, etc., that person will undoubtedly be dealt with harshly.

∙ 14y agoWell, you can't... unless you commited fraud. If you stole their identity {fraud}, then you can go to jail for 5+ years. But last time I looked, there were HUNDREDS of Britany Spears and other celebrity pages online.
