Depends on where she lives, how responsible she is, and the situation. I've left my 10 year old child with a 13 year old family friend. She lives close, and I trust her and have good neighbors so I have left them for 4 hours. So it all depends
An 18 year old is considered an adult and should be more than adequate for child care. You will want to insure that there is a medical consent form for the babysitter and all your contact information.
In MD a babysitter must be at least 13 and/or have there babysitting certification. But, any child 8 and older can be left home alone.
I'm not 100 % positive about this but I'm pretty sure, 95% sure there is no "legal age" to be a babysitter. One thing to keep in mind though is if you leave your child somewhere and something happens you can be charged with child endangerment. One reason there's no age to which a child can be left alone, except for the obvious is because some 12 year olds will be more mature than some 15 year olds, and vice versa.
This depends on where in the world you live ! 16 is considered old enough in Britain to leave home have a sexual relationship and get married.
it depends on the attitude of that 12 year-old child.. and it depends on that child if he/she is bored.. maybe leave them any gadgets that entertain them =)
No its not illegal. But dont leave her unless you have full trust in her.
No. Young children should have a babysitter of some kind when you leave the house. Even if it's only for a couple of hours. I would say no cause there is too many things in the house and you never know its florida. No. Young children should have a babysitter of some kind when you leave the house. Even if it's only for a couple of hours. You are speaking of child endangerment in any state.
Yes, your child can leave.
Yes, there are no age requirements as long as adults permit.
You would want to look what the pay is going for in your state. In Michigan, I charge $3 a hour per child. But if you describe your babysitter as immature would you want them watching your child?
it really all depends on how much you charge . Usually you charge $5 an hour so it depends on how long they are gone. The most you shoukd make is $30.
I would say no.
