Most modern scholars identify Narmer as the Scorpion King who ruled c.3100BC

He may well be the same person as Menes who is said to have united the kingdoms of upper and lower Egypt. The length of his reign is not known

Narmer was a pharaoh of ancient Egypt. He was born some time around 3180 BC, and he died around 3120 BC. This means that he lived to be around 60 years old, though his exact age, birth date, and date of death are unknown.
