Watari was L's helper. Light's father along with the rest of the Kira team worked with him to solve the Kira case.
If I remember correctly, Near had one of his agents trail Mikami then snuck into his locker or case of some sort, then switch the death note that Mikami had for a fake one, created by Near's men. Vigorously awesome :D
"B" is Beyond Birthday. He is not mentioned in the anime nor the manga. He is mentioned in the book "Death Note; Another Note." Also: B, BB, Beyond Birthday or Backup is the serial killer from the Death Note novel by Nisiosin. In it, BB attempts to create a case that L cannot solve and become the "Master Criminal" worthy to L. More information can be found here:http://deathnote.wikia.com/wiki/Beyond_Birthday
In the show, as far as I recall they never met in any of the episodes. However I believe that they might have possibly met prior to the series and L's death. (In case you don't already know, Ryuzaki is L)
No because he dies in it, but he is in a book written about the before-death-note book 'the B.B murders' about another case, which I would highly reccomend
to solve a case study you need to go fine a book and then look at the case of it and then you study it and that's how you solve a case study in San Marco's middle school
There's no specific category for near death experiences. However.. questions of that nature would probably be found in the 'Death and Dying' category. You would just have to browse the questions there in case any are 'lurking'.

Beyond Birthday is one of the characters you don't find out much in the actual Manga or Anime. Let's go from the beginning :DBeyond Birthday was born with the eyes of a Shinigami, so he could see peoples names and life spans. He was taken into Wammy House, but the pressure was too great for him so he ran away.BB (Beyond Birthday) wanted to give L a case he couldn't solve. He became obsessed with the detective and began to change his appearance to suit L's.You can find out more in: Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Case
how to solve the case on Poptropica
Strategy (which was used by B in attempt to defeat L by creating a case he would not even solve himself.) Persistance (this applies to how far B would go just to beat L) and Horror (pretty much self explainatory, which is basically the style of the killer of how he acts)
