Three months.
Twilight was inspired by a dream that Stephanie Meyer had of Bella and Edward in the meadow. She wanted to know how it would end, so she continued to write where the dream left off, and that's how twilight was created. Cool huh? So to make a long story short, Twilight started as a dream.
Stephanie Meyer started writing Twilight in 2003, and finished it in 3 months. The last book (from Bella's perspective, at least), Breaking Dawn, was published in August 2008. So, she wrote them over a period of five years
The paperback version, including the epilogue, is 498 pages. Without the epiloge, it is 480 pages long.
Before she wrote it.OK I don't, but not long before she wrote it!
Twilight, became popular from like a month before the movie came out, to nowActually, it was more like a year before the movie came out. I worked with a bunch of high school girls who were addicted and they made such a fuss for so long that I finally borrowed the books from them. I finished Breaking Dawn (for the second time) just after Twilight the movie came out in theaters.
Stephanie Meyer had a dream about the story line for Twilight in June of 2003 and within six months the book was in the hands of a publishing house. The novel, Twilight, was released for sale in October of 2005. So, it took 2 years and 4 months to make Twilight into a book. The other books in the Twilight Saga and the release dates for them are: New Moon was released in September of 2006, Eclipse was released in August of 2007 and Breaking Dawn was released in August of 2008.
There technically isn't a fifth Twilight book. Midnight Sun is the name, and it is in Edward's version of the whole Twilight book. Stephanie Meyer is thought to be doing the whole series again in Edward's view. The series is as follows: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn. There is no fifth book. Stephanie Meyer was going to publish Twilight from Edward's point of view instead of Bella's, but something happened and she won't be putting it out now.
Well, Breaking Dawn was split into two seperate movies because of how very long the book is. The book is so long because Stephanie Meyer has split the novel into three seperate books. Two of them are from Bella's point of view. The other from Jacobs. Stephanie also put some complex things in the book that are extremely difficult to transfer onto the bigscreen. The producer and script writers had their work cut out for them.
Well Of Course Stephanie Meyer already had the book written, but the screen writers marked out some parts of the book, just like you do in One-Act Plays. The screen writing only took about 6 weeks to do, (as I'm told.) Hope it helps
Stephanie Long Lomenick's birth name is Stephanie Long.
Stephenie Meyer's cameo in the "Twilight" movie can be seen at the diner in the scene where Bella and her father are eating. She is the woman sitting at the bar in the background with a green jacket and long, dark hair.
the twilight novel, plus the preface and epilogue is 498 pages long. then, you have a sneak peak at the 2nd book in the series new moon, which is 29 pages long.
