11th century. This is when Chepstow Castle began construction and Chepstow is the first stone castle made.
Wood and Stone
As the square keep was Square, the corners could be easily undermined. They'd usually send some men down a hole, make them tunnel until they reached a corner of the keep, put a pigs bladder under the corner, set fire to it. It would explode/catch fire taking away the corner of the castle and could make it crumble away. Also because the keep had straight corners, your attacker would have the advantage, because you might not have been able to spot them until it was too late.
Personally I would make it out of card board. It could include round towers which could be made out of toilet roll. REMEMBER: A concentric castle needs an outer wall and the castle goes in the middle. The outer wall is to give the castle more protection. Try not to make it a fairy-tale castle and more of a historic castle made out of stone.
there are various sites that could help u with that question but this website is not one of them

You just get lots of stone together and build loads of fortresses together. Make little watchout towers with a small stone tower and some decorative blocks at the top.
GOOD-They were good because the were highly protective and strong. BAD-People could dig under the castle, make a fire-Therefore the stones would heat up and crack, making it easier for the enemy to attack and brake the stone wall.
