If you look on the internet, you will find that articles are to this day appearing on the subject. So counting all media coverage, JFK's assassination has been covered for over 50 years. The most intensive media attention was of course during the first one to two years, from the assassination itself until the Warren Report investigating it that appeared about one year later, and then another year with media polemics about the fact that there was much doubt about its conclusions.
The ongoing media attention is basically caused by the fact that many people simply don't accept that one guy (according to the Warren Report conclusion) armed with a non-automatic rifle that moreover proved to have a faulty visor could have scored three bullseyes in a matter of seconds from a great distance on a moving target.
Add to that the fact that the assumed shooter (Lee Harvey Oswald) claimed in one of the few short statements that he made before he was himself killed 'that he had been set up', and the stage was set for an endless stream of conspiracy theories over the decades in which the co-assassins or co-plotters were alternatively named as the CIA, the FBI, pro-Castro elements, anti-Castro elements, the Mob, big business, the Russians and a number of others. All these possibilities were extensively and sometimes convincingly argued, but the fact of the matter is that not a shred of hard and unrefutable evidence has ever turned up to substantiate those theories. So the media attention will continue, every time someone else turns up with a new convincing theory.
