For instance, a lukewarm Catholic family might only attend Mass once a week on a Sunday at an average parish; with the homily and no extras, they might be in the Church for an hour. A fervent Catholic family who goes to confession each week, and attends daily Mass, does an hour of Adoration each week, and stops in for visits to the Blessed Sacrament, plus praying their rosary, might easily be in Church for ten to twenty hours a week. A man or woman who lives in a monastery might be in Church for five to six hours a day.
