As with most mechanical items the kind of care you give it has a huge effect on longevity. In the case of any car, you could completely trash it within weeks of leaving the dealer's lot or it could be running half a million miles later. The Solara should easily last 250 thousand miles and many years if the owner follows the maintenance schedule.
My '04 Solara is coming up on 90 thousand miles and has been flawless. The cam timing belt, water pump and accessory drive belt will be replaced soon and it should be good to go for another 90 thousand.
Cheers
Temperature control set to heat?Needs refrigerant charge?
They will usually last just as long as a Toyota or Honda.
Toyota usually lasts longer but Saturn lasts pretty long for a GM carAnswerGM vehicles, when properly maintained, can last as long as any other vehicles on the road.
that depends on how much u drive and how you look after it
If you have a Toyota only 40,000 miles!
A 2007 Toyota Corolla does not have a timing belt. It has a timing CHAIN. It is expected to last the life of the car.
Until God commands you to buy a 2005.
Cars that can last you a long time would be toyota, honda, and nissan. Toyota has been none to have cars last 300k to 400k miles more then any car. Honda 280k to 390k miles. Nissan 280k to 300k miles.
its long gone now, lets put it that way.
Car batteries last four to five years on average.
If you do it yourself, probably about $100 less than if you take it to Toyota. But if you have an authorized Toyota service do it, they will put on another Toyota starter which should last as long as this one did.
8 years or 80,000 miles.
