I know that black lab border collies mix live for about 12-15 year approximately.
Yes, there are hypoallergenic collies. In fact, I know of a breeder where I live in Ann Arbor, MI! You can contact them if you have any questions at 516 859 0838 (Aakash)!
Here are some breeds that could live outside and be worked as sheepdogs: 1) Border Collie 2) Smooth Collie 3) Rough Collie 4) Australian Kelpie 5) Beauceron 6) Australian Shepherd 7) Any Collie crossbred
Well, being a mix probably 12-16 years.
Bearded Collie Berger Picard Bull; male cow Bats; sometimes live in barns Border Collie Buck; male deer can be found on wooded farms many farmers have hunting dogs such as; bluetick hounds, basset hounds, blood hounds, beagles Bunny
Most dogs that live on a farm are either any type of Collie or an Austrailian Shepard. They use the dogs for herding sheep/cattle. I live on a farm and we always use our dogs for herding sheep and cattle. Plus they just keep you company :D
Yes. Dogs, as well as nearly all organisms on Earth, require water to live.
It depends on the gene pool of both breeds. It is said that dogs with mixed breeds live healthier lives. I've had almost all the dogs in my life that were mixed breeds for that reason (called Heinz 57 variety, but the rage now) and 3 have lived to be 19 - 20 years old. Both of the breeds in your dog need lots of exercise. Be sure you are fussy what foods you buy for them. Gluten content, no filtering organs in their food (could be a diseased animals liver or kidneys in the mix) because as of now there are no strict guidelines for dog food manufacturers. Pet owners are outraged by this last outbreak of bad gluten (from China) and now find that Melamine has been also present in some dog foods. Talk to a good pet store such as Petcetera (if you have one in the U.S.) or any larger pet store.

I would probably say Cavilier Charles Spaniel or English bulldogs are supposed to be great with kids. If you live on a farm especially a sheep farm a border collie would be a great herder.I know this because i have a Border Collie mixed with an Australian Shepherd and he likes to herd us sometimes. We live in the city and we have barely any yard room so he probably should be on a farm but i don't mind because i love dogs.
No they dont live in the sahara.
