Yes cheetahs are primarily loners who tend to live by themselves and fend for themselves. The only time cheetahs will live with one another is when a female cheetah is raising and fending for her cubs until they are ready to go off on their own.
Cheetahs live in the open and have no home, den, etc. They will take shelter in tall grass, especially to hide their cubs.
They can if they live in the same areas, otherwise it is difficult.
Cheetah do not live in shelters, they are animals of the open Savannah.
It can have up to nine cubs at once, though typically about three to five. They are born live. Cheetahs are mammals, so they have live young.
Cheetah mothers live alone so its hard to raise her cubs. when it comes to feeding them she usaully hides them in a tree r long grass and then when she comes back with the food they will have their meal but during this time the cubs have watched their mum hunt and when they r older she will teach them step by step.
Baby cubs live with their mother in dens or nests, where they are cared for and protected. The den provides a safe environment for the cubs to grow and develop before they are ready to explore the outside world with their mother.
The mother may live with her cubs until they are mature enough to go out on their own. Males may form loose groups to protect a territory from invading males called coalitions.
Like many animals, cheetahs teach their cubs everything for basic survival. These lessons, when young, are taught through watching their mother. When old enough to hunt, these lessons are taught by a live specimen the cubs have to kill (i.e: the mother returns with a live animal in which the cubs must kill). Liker other predatory animals, when cheetah cubs play, they are learning the basic hunting techniques used in everyday life.
Cheetah's mate and reproduce all year round. They don't have any mating season as such. After a gestation period of around 90 to 98 days, a female give birth to a litter of upto 9 cubs. But, the average litter size is between 3 to 5 cubs. The cubs weigh an average of 150 to 300 grams at birth and stay with the mother for approximately 2 years. During this period, the mother protects her cubs and feeds them.
as long as a cheetah
The male cheetahs live together in groups, most of the time the male cheetahs are brothers. While the females live alone and take care of the cubs. If a female gives birth to two males and a female the males will grow up and live together, while the female cheetah will go live on her own until she is ready to have a littler.
