usually about 2-4 hours, and sometimes 1 hour, but not all the time.
Yah they do. I had 3 once, there names were Mutant, Ninja, and Turtles. They sit in a cage all day, so they get bored and sleep. They nap a lot, its ok. Get them some toys to play with, theyll love em and a wheel, they go crazy over those. Theyr usually hyper little buggers but they ware themselfs out alot. ;)
It depends. If your gerbil is tired, not very long as he will go to sleep. But a young, active gerbil may run all night on its wheel!
not very long they aren't like other rodent they dont sleep all day and are up all night at the most 1-2 hours a day otherwise u have a very lazy gerbil.
It is in a gerbil's nature to sleep alot. Although they are not strictly nocturnal, they can be as active in the day as they are in the night.
Gerbils are nappers (as in they take naps throughout day and night). You probably just aren't there when the gerbil is awake.
Yes, pregnant gerbils usually sleep for long periods of time. This is due to them getting tired from carrying heavy weights. No need to worry if they sleep alot, just make sure they eat and drink lots too.
About 6 inches
A warm (not hot or cold) place to sleep
You forgot to take the gerbil out of your butt before you went to sleep.
About 6 inches
Give it time to rest and make sure it has a warm and cozy place to sleep.
if your gerbil is a female there usally quite small so you can tell by looking at there stomach like humans they get a bump and sleep more often but its best to get two of the same sex.
My gerbil is a little fuzzy critter that loves to run all night long in his workout wheel.
