How did the supernova come about?

Well in space there are billions of stars. Stars are like humans they are born, they live for a while and eventually die out. When a star reaches the end of its life it starts to produce elements in its core such as helium and other elements but when it produces IRON it has signed its death certificate, after just a few seconds after the star has produced iron it has a supernova. A supernova is the single most destructive force known to man. A supernova will destroy anything in its path. When the supernova is over all that is left is a white dwarf which is so dense that if you was to drop a sugar cube on its surface it would sink into its core thousands of miles deep. Hope I answered your question, if you have anymore questions reply back.

Do all stars end their life cycle the same way?

No because smaller stars can live longer than bigger stars and the big stars wont live as long but will end in a very violent explosion. That can result in a major supernova and even a black hole smaller stars will die in a much less violent way.

How has the life and death of stars impacted the environment?

All but the very lightest elements: hydrogen and helium, are abundant in outer space. All other elements were formed by nuclear fusion during the life of the stars and blasted off into space when those stars went nova. So almost all of the matter in our environment was created in the stars. All our energy - heat and light - comes from stars.

Where are the hottest brightest stars?

Hot bright stars do not live very long because they are big (have a lot of mass) and their core density means that they use up their fuel quickly and die young (in supernova explosions). This means you find the hottest brightest stars in star forming regions, stellar nurseries.

Could you live in space?

u can not live in space you will die of hunger. And you will die no matter how many air tanks you have.Space food is peanuts and peanut butter.you will have no water.you can not live without water. So if you try to live in space bacause of 2012 you will die before everybody on Earth. SO DONT TRY IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Why cant you live on stars?

Stars are way to hot to live on. They also have on atmosphere

What is the main way the stars differ?

Primarily in mass. Smaller stars are smaller and dimmer, and live longer; more massive stars are bigger, LOTS brighter, and die sooner. A small star - or even an average star like our Sun - will last for billions of years. A giant star like Betelgeuse or Sirius will go supernova and blow itself apart in only a few million years.

How long can stars live?

Stars can live more than 10 billion years.

Do llamas live in space?
