Typically, for life. If your really lucky you might find your twitches lessen a lot as you grow older, but that is rare. Most are stuck with it, and for a few it actually gets worse later in life.

Between 1 and 10 children per 1,000 have Tourette's.

I find that increasing working out has almost cured it for me, I belive the reason being is the affect it had on your nerological system.

I have been lifting since I was 17 and as I get stronger the Tourette's is less and less noticeable. I think it's the discipline that you learn and fitness also affects your neurological system as well as affecting you metobolically.
