∙ 13y agoA teacher is usually issued a contract stating that they work 180 days a year, 7 hours a day (including a 30 minute lunch and 30 minute break) BUT almost any good teacher puts in an additional 2-4 hours daily plus several hours at home for FREE just striving for students success.
(I am a guidance counselor for over 22 years and I see teachers stay late every night copying,grading,etc)
