There are 336 projectors and 20,000 flashing lightbulbs (5,000 on each side), and a searchlight at the top on the Eiffel tower. The projectors' light has a golden shade. The flashing lights are white and glitter for the five first minutes of each hour. The projectors are only lit at night, but they are switched off for ten minutes at 01am, leaving only the glitter of the sparkling lights.
On very special and rare occasions, the projectors' lightbulbs have been changed for another colour (red, green, etc..)
The 20,000 sparkling lights come on 24 times a day, during the five first minutes of each hour. The 336 projectors light up at night and are turned off in the morning, so once a day.
