Irish Setters are not a double-coated breed and so do not go through that stereotypical twice-a-year coat blow that the double-coated breeds (ie, labrador retrievers) go through. The recommended regular brushing schedule to maintain their beautiful coats should be adequate to all but eliminate even the dust bunnies!!
