This is a big ham and the last thing you want is the whole family sick from under cooked pork the rule of thumb is 20 min per pound at 325 but I like the low and slow method as it insures a tender and mouth watering experience the the family will talk about until next year .so about 300 for about 25 min per pound covered with some fruit juice like orange or white grape in the bottom for basting enjoy
A fresh ham is a large piece of meat and will take time. You will have to use a thermometer to validate that it has reached full temperature. You are talking several hours to heat all the way through.
You need to cook each pound of ham for 15 mins at 325 degree oven. So for a 24 lb ham, you will cook it for 6 hrs at 325 degrees.
look at the packet. it should tell, if not complain
2 hours. It is 30 minutes a pound, but because it has stuffing you add another 30 minutes.
The rule is to cook a fresh ham on 325 degrees for 18 to 29 minutes a pound. A 2 pound ham would take 40 minutes. The internal temperature should reach 160 degrees.
I don't know! Why don't you go find out!
Six hour and forty minutes you should cook a turkey about three pounds and hour
A 1.75-2.0 pound boneless turkey breast should be cooked for about 40 minutes. Turkey should be cooked at a temperature of 325 degrees.
this sounds a little too HOT!! Why 450degress?????
There are two ways to cook prime rib roasts. If you choose to cook it low and slow you will want to set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook it for 17-20 minutes per pound. If you want to cook it a higher temperate for a shorter period of time it is recommended that you set the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and allow 13-15 minutes per pound.
For a fully cooked boneless ham you go with 15 minutes for the pound (so 2 1/4 hours or 135 minutes) at 325 degrees
in an oven 20 min per pound at 350 degrees if smoking in an electric smoker about 25-30 min per pound if smoking in a charcoal smoker about 45 min. per pound
at 300
Game meat should be cooked about an hour for every pound of the bird. A six pound turkey should cook for about six hours.
Depends on if this is bone in or boneless.... A 16.5 pound boneless pork shoulder smoked or grilled using an indirect method at 225 to 250 degrees should take about 12 hours. Reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees and remove. Cover loosely with foil and let rest for about 30 minutes.... Will continue to cook to about 165 degrees. This allows the internal juices to get back to the middle!!! Bone in will take a little less time - around 10 hours.... Cook slow and long for best results!!!!! DeliDave
