How often and how long of time does a 2000 F350 7.3 powerstroke need to be plugged in?

depends on how cold it is, but the simple answer is, if it's cold enough that it needs to be plugged in, leave it plugged in till it starts, it won't hurt anything except your power bill.

How long should you left the engine block heater on your ford F-250 plugged in?

it doesnt matter how long u leave the block heater plugged in. i plug in when i am done driving for the day. the longer the heater is plugged in the warmer the engine is when u start it Block heaters are a huge draw on electricity. If you are plugging it in regularily, you can save yourself a ton of money by adding a timer. 2 or 3 hours is more than emough to start any light duty diesel in any weather. If it is having trouble starting after 3 hrs, the engine has issues.

Can you run off-road diesel in a 7.3L F250?

It is capable as long as it is off road use only. The off road diesel contains a red dye that stains the fuel filter, so if you're caught on road with red dyed filters or a tank full of red diesel you may get in trouble with law enforcement. Off road diesel does not have road taxes added to the cost.

How do you adjust clutch on 1999 f 250 7.3 diesel?

Ford has used hydraulically operated clutches in the F250 for a long time. You don't adjust them. You could bleed it, if the clutch feels soft or spongy.

F250 ford diesel 6.0 will not start?

Make sure you wait long enough for the glow plugs to charge. Check your fuel and power systems. Add a bottle of 70% alcohol to the tank to break up old or cold fuel.
