It shouldn't if your hair is only light brown unless you don't leave the lightener on long enough. If your hair tends to pull red or gold then you might get an gold or red tint but that is usually only if you don't leave the bleach on long enough to work. But don't leave it on too long or you will get damage and breakage.
You can leave bleach on the hair for up to an hour. After this it will not work. You have to make a fresh batch. The more time that the bleach is out in the air the less time you have to put it on the hair. The ends are dark because there is more of a build up of colour there. You will have to do this on a few separate occasions. Because your hair is black the bleach will take longer to take the colour out. Black changes to red, the orange then blonde, it does take longer to get black out.
yes you can.. i had bright red hair and wanted to go blond. so what i did is i bleached my hair i didn't leave it on for too long then i washed it of i dried my hair then i added a toner..I have red hair and instead of bleaching I use the John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner. There is also new one in this line that is called Sunstreaks Blonde that does a good job.I like what it does. It gives me blonde streaks in my hair and tones down the red a bit without total coverage of my red.
no. it will bleach your hair.
yes, but you'd have to bleach it first
depends! is your hair bleach blonde like white or yellow blonde? or just light blonde. some people say "oh she has STRAWBERRY blond hair" but it depends on what blond your talking about. And kind of! Blond hair and natural red hair (natural red is when you just leave it and u dont make the red darker or lighter u just leave it the way it is) are both light colors, but different colors!
i died my hair red and i have quite dark brown hair, it went really really red. I used a vibrant red though, & it was only semi perminaant! & i used NO bleach! so your dont need to nope
All you need to do is add the dye, although it might not come out as red as you want it. If you do want it Pillarbox red though, bleach it first. :)
If you're going to turn black hair anything you need to take it to a pro--it's GOING to turn orange during the process, and if you do it yourself you're going to stop at orange, freak out and cry about how your hair is ruined. A pro will leave the product in your hair long enough to get through the orange stage. Anyway, if you've got actual black hair you have to add both a high-lift developer and bleach to the mix to get it to lift to red.
When your roots grow out they will be your natural colour but when your dying your hair your roots will be red. When you dye bleach blonde hair dark red it will be a little lighter than want you want to have. The best thing is to go to the salon and have it done. They can prepigment it so you get the colour you desire.
This is a two step process. First bleach the hair to get rid of the dark color, then dye it the color you want.
It depends on what kind of hair color you have, and how long you leave the hair die in. If you follow the instructions it should come out great.
