Why does blonde hair turn orange?
It shouldn't if your hair is only light brown unless you don't leave the lightener on long enough. If your hair tends to pull red or gold then you might get an gold or red tint but that is usually only if you don't leave the bleach on long enough to work. But don't leave it on too long or you will get damage and breakage.

You can leave bleach on the hair for up to an hour. After this it will not work. You have to make a fresh batch. The more time that the bleach is out in the air the less time you have to put it on the hair. The ends are dark because there is more of a build up of colour there. You will have to do this on a few separate occasions. Because your hair is black the bleach will take longer to take the colour out. Black changes to red, the orange then blonde, it does take longer to get black out.

There is also new one in this line that is called Sunstreaks Blonde that does a good job.I like what it does. It gives me blonde streaks in my hair and tones down the red a bit without total coverage of my red.
