A Tragus piercing, being a deep cartilage piercing should be left in for a period of 3~9 months to allow the piercing to properly season and toughen. As with any piercing they are never considered fully healed until they are a full year old. So the longer you can leave it alone without changing the jewellery the better it is for the piercing.

What do you do if a new tragus piercing won't move?

Well don't force it just keep cleaning it normally and it will start to move on it's own. Movement can usually be seen by about the 2nd weeks of cleaning, this is an indication that the piercing is healing well.

How long do you keep a helix piercing in for?

At least 2-3 months for a new piercing. If you need to downsize the jewelry sooner than that, you can go back to your piercer and have them change it for you.

If you take a tragus piercing out will it heal up?

depends how long you've had it for .. if its more than 7 years pretty consistantly wearing the jewelry for it , then it will take quit a bit longer .. but more than likely it will heal up if you don't keep the jewelry in for it . HOPE THIS HELPS ! :)

Can you change your tongue ring in 3 days?

If you are talking about a new piercing the answer would be no. You need to wait for the swelling to settle down (about 14 days) before changing the jewellery in a new tongue piercing. Then you should see your professional body piercer to have then change it for you to ensure the piercing is healing without complications.

Is a week enough to keep your ear pierced?

If you mean is a week long enough to keep the jewelry in before you change it to new jewelry, then no. Jewelry needs to stay in for 6 weeks before being changed to give the piercing time to stabilize. If changed too early, it can cause problems. If you just want to take it out and let it heal, you can do that whenever you want.
