No way exists to answer your question. 20 cm is a unit of length. It is not a unit of volume. Knowing that your toy is 20 cm long and has a weight of 45 g does not provide enough information to give the density of the toy. Take your toy. Put it into a large beaker. Cover the toy with water. Put a mark on the side of the beaker at the waterline. Remove your toy. Put a mark at the top of the water line. Fill a graduated cylinder to the top line. Now, slowly pour water into the beaker until you raise the level of the water to the top line. Write down how much water you poured into the beaker. Now take that amount in ml and divide it into the number of g. If it is 22.5 ml and 45g your density is 2.
When you put an object in water, it pushes some of the water out of the way. The water that gets pushed aside takes up more space, so the water level rises to make room. Think of it like how when you push your toys aside to make room for a new toy in your toy box.

waterproof glue ANS 2 - First, dump the water or put it in something else, then dry the jar and glue your toy in with a silicone glue like Gloozit, Goop, Shoe Goop or simply 100 % silicone. As soon as the toy is firmly held (10-15 minutes,) you can put water back, as cold water enhances the strength of silicone.
Jelly-like aliens in a plastic egg are a popular toy for young children. The aim of the toy is to place the egg in water and within 48 hours the alien will grow. If you put your alien with the goo in the water without the egg, it may get damaged and lose some of its shape.
