I have 255,000 on a 1987 Nissan 300zx and still running strong. As long as you maintain the car and change the oil evry 3000 mi it should last a long time.

Bottom of the radiator. In most cases you have to remove the plastic splash guards that run under the radiator.
You should put 3 quarts of oil in your 1986 300zx Turbo and then let it run for 30 seconds. After that, check the oil level and fill it until the oil on the dipstick is level with the H.
