The Navy and Army's basic training is 8 weeks long. Air force is 6 weeks, and Marine Corps is 13 weeks.
One.
8 weeks of basic training (BCT), and 3 weeks to 2 years of advanced individual training (AIT, depending on the jod being trained for.
Basic Army training, also known as Basic Combat Training (BCT), typically lasts for about 10 weeks. However, the duration may vary slightly depending on the specific branch of the army and any additional training requirements.
13 weeks for Basic Training, then 3 weeks for element training (army, air force, or navy), then one month for trade training (such as infantry, artillery, etc.).
The overall full-time Officer training course at RMC is 18 months long. If you choose to do another course training it may vary in time. Overall the complete basic IT training takes 18 months.
Your Entry Level Training comes in two phases - Basic Combat Training, and Advanced Individual Training. In BCT, you learn basic soldiering skills. In AIT, you learn the skills necessary for your occupation in the military. Additional training will come as you advance in your career, move up in rank, and take on new responsibilities.
Training is a vital part of any soldier's and officer's professional career. This can take place at several different venues, including Catterick in North Yorkshire and in Winchester.
no their is not such a thing as an ex marine or army men! There is a saying, "You can take the boy out of the service, but you can't take the service out of the boy." Substitute "army" or "Marines" for "service." The reality of this is that military training is such that the person who reports to Basic Training is not the person who leaves; the soldier and Marine are made into a new person with new perceptions and abilities.
It depends on which program and which school you are looking at. It can take from two years, which would be basic training, to four years which would be executive chef training.
Not a clear enough question...... I will attempt to answer with what I believe your question is. When a person enlists in the Army they a committing themselves to a contract with that service to serve for the selected amount of years that they agreed to while at MEPS or the Recruiting Station. You are required to serve the duration of your agreed terms of service be it 2 to 6 years. When you have completed your time you are free to leave the Army or you can choose to reenlist. You are authorized to take leave when you have completed all required training to include Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training and or Airborne or Ranger Training.
