For benzos allot depends on the body fat ratio and metabolic rate. Approx detection time for single use (urine test) is 7-10 days but 10 mg is not to much so best you can do is to give your self 4-5 days and home test your first morning urine, with highest concentration. Look at your pharmacy places and buy a home drug test kit with panel for benzodiazepines.

∙ 10y agoHalf life of diazepam (Valium) is about 36 hours. So after 36 hours you have 5 mg left in your body. Which is again therapeutic dose. After another 36 hours you have 2.5 mg diazepam left in your body. After another 36 hours you have 1.25 mg left in your body. Which is sub-clinical dose for adult. One can hold urine overnight. For that you have given another 12 hours. So after five days your urine should be negative for diazepam. Although traces will be found in urine.
