This particular engine has been noted for its quality. As long as it is correctly maintained then it should last around 200,000 miles before any remedial work is required.

What year? If it has a 4.5 or a 4.9l engine, then it will last 300,000+ miles. They're very good engines.
No, not at the present time. The last 4 cylinder was installed in the Cadillac Cimarron, which was nothing more than a re-badged Cavalier.
only if the engine is on its last legs , try removing the valve and see what happens . to be safe have a mate holding the key so you can switch off straght away if any problems . dont run engine for over 15 seconds with no valve as if engine is on last legs then it may!, pump oil out and destroy what you have left!!!
Can be very good! I Have owned 26 cadillacs in the last 8 years (business related) and they have been ultra reliable ENGINES. I have only had to replace ONE ever. All of these caddy's have gone over 200k miles.
The 2006 Cadillac CTS uses a cam chain and not a belt. It should last the life of the engine so no maintenance is required.
2003
about as long as a regular valve

2002
If the engine in that Mustang is maintained properly the catalytic convertor should last the lifetime of the vehicle.
