Mine stayed in plaster for about 10-12 weeks
It depends on how badly it's sprained, but usually between 2 and 5 days. It hurts allot at first, but quickly gets stronger and you very rarely need crutches.
Well, it will be covered under medical insurance provided you are to stay at hospital/nursing home for a minimum period of 24 hours for treatment of your broken ankle. Alternatively, if you are having Personal Accident Policy, you can avail of medical benefit from that one.
You will have to stay off of your ankle so that it has a chance to heal. If you use crutches and elevate your foot then it shouldnt take long for you to heal.
You should see an orthopedic doctor about this - the ankle is a very complicated joint with a dozen or so bones involved. The doctor should be able to get the bones back into alignment and then immobilize the joint so the bones don't move. Once everything is locked in place, the rest is up to time and your body to fix. You must be very careful to not place weight on the broken ankle, not twist or rotate the ankle and in general stay off the leg entirely. Your doctor will give you specific instructions on how to accomplish this.
Yes, your toes will show with a cast for a broken ankle.
Usually if you go to get x-rays your doctor will tell you whether or not its broken. Some things you should know if it is broken are (i know this because I am in a aircast right know because I have a broken growth plate in my ankle). So first it would be helpful if I knew where you think your growth plate is broken. So here are some things you should know; -if it is broken and it is your ankle or heel, you will most likely be put into a aircast -go to the doctor asap because I waited two weeks and it got worse -you should go to a orthopedic doctor before or after so he can tell you whats wrong etc. -and stay off it as much as possible (I thought I sprained my ankle so I was on crutches for a week, and they helped)
These ankle weights feature a super-soft gel padding that will stay comfortable on long runs.
The only way you can tell if you have sprained an ankle is to go to the emergency room and see a doctor. I would stay off the injured ankle until you find out the results.
I'm sorry that you have a broken arm- how long the cast will be on, depends upon what type of a break it was, and also how long it has been on already. It's best if you ask your local hospital about this. GET WELL SOON!!
no, you won't stay heart broken only if the preson heart broken too that means that you two are meant to be.
A tightening around the ankle usually indicates swelling. Swollen ankles are common for those who walk or stand a lot. Feet and ankles that stay swollen for long periods of time, or are accompanied by other symptoms should be checked by a physician.
