Never, it uses a chain which is supposed to last the life of the car.
The cambelt should be changed every 100,000 miles on a Toyota Townace. If the light is on that is signifying that there may be something wrong with it so it should be checked as soon as possible.
had mine done last year cost about £400
The E46 uses a timing chain. The last time a cambelt was used in a 3-series was for the E30. The carbureted 316, the 318is, and the M3 used a timing chain.
depends really but they can usually last you up to 50-60k
With proper maintenance should last approx. 250,000 miles
That engine does not have a timing belt, it is chain driven and should last the lifetime of the vehicle.
I take it you mean 1.2 16V ? It doesnt have a cambelt , it has a cam chain , which "should" last the life of the engine, there is no recommended change schedules of the chain. If it gets noisy....change it quick !
One actor with the last name Ford is Harrison Ford. Others are: Glenn Ford Peter Ford Rick Ford Steven Ford Trent Ford Anitra Ford
For about £10 and up. Diesel or petrol. Although you are better off getting a cambelt kit which includes the tensioner. If you are having / doing the cambelt, you might as well go for a new water pump, unless it's been done in the last 50 000 miles
Hi No the 1.o ltr 12v engine has a timing chain which should last the life of the engine.
