An airletter is a letter sent by airmail with the intention of being received by the person on the other end of the flight.
1 to 14 days or more
Of course you can. As long as the total amount of postage equals the first class rate. All mail is sent air these days.
about 4 days
14-21 days, possibly sooner but, no guarantees.
Just sent one for £1.21. It was in a big envelope so a normal letter would probably be a few pennies less.
Should take up to 3-4 days, maybe 5 in this time.
That would depend how you sent it, for example by priority, airmail or by ship. It can take less than a week.

Well, how long does it take to get from the US to Hong Kong? That amount of time is the same amount of time it takes for you to Airmail the package. There might be some traffic though (Hehe!!!)
The airmail rate for international mail depends on the country it is being sent from. For some letters, it is possible to choose between methods of shipment (surface or air) and various special services such as insurance and registered mail may be available, and from the US priority or express service may be available. The US one-ounce airmail letter rate in 2012 was $1.05 to Argentina. This is scheduled to increase by 2014.
