How long a piercing takes to close up depends on the gauge of the piercing but mostly it depends on the individual. All I can give you is anecdotal evidence; I removed my 14g lip piercing which was 18 months old and was unable to re-open the hole without re-piercing just two days later.

If you want to keep the piercing open but need it to go unnoticed (say, for a job interview or a particular event) consider using a piercing retainer, these are clear plastic bars which are almost invisible when worn.

How many hours till it closes up-belly ring?

Your question isn't very clear, but I will give it a shot. The time it takes for a navel piercing to close or "heal up" depends on how long you have had the piercing. The longer the piercing has been in place with jewellery, the longer it will take for the piercing to close with the jewellery removed. Generally if you have had the piercing with jewellery over a year the piercing can take several months to shrink down to the point where you can't put jewellery into the piercing any longer. If you have only had the piercing for a few months then it can take a few weeks for the piercing to close.

After lip ring heals can it close up?

Like any hole in the body that wasn't there by design the piercing will close if jewellery is not kept in the piercing. The speed at which the piercing closes will be dictated by the period of time the jewellery has been kept in the piercing, the longer jewellery is worn the longer it will take for the piercing to close up.

How can to cure snakebite piercings?

You cannot "cure" a piercing, per-se. If you remove a lip piercing, the hole will close as with any other piercing, though, depending on how long the piercing was in place will define the length of time it takes for the piercing to close entirely. if the piercing has been in place for some time, there is a likelihood that the piercing will scar. The scar will not be immediately noticeable, and will take the shape- in most cases- of a small crater at the site of the piercing.

After several months of having the upper ear cartilage pierced it still hurts. Is there supposed to be a small dent where the stud has been?

Pain and discomfort are part and parcel of getting the cartilage pierced with a piercing gun. The piercing gun user knows that they are not allowed to pierce ear cartilage with a piercing gun. Properly done cartilage piercing done by a professional body piercer would have been healed by now. The swelling is due to the stud backing being too close to the skin and not allowing the piercing to drain or breath properly.

How long do cheek piercings last without the piercing?

Without the jewelry to keep the piercing open, a cheek piercing will generally close within a few weeks. It can even happen in a few days if the piercing has not been there for a long period of time.

How long does an eyebrow piercing take to close up if you dont like it?

If the piercing is 24 hours old it will close quite quickly (generally a few days to knit up), the longer the piercing has been kept with the jewellery in it the longer it will take to heal up. So if you don't like the piercing, get the jewellery out fairly quick and you should be good in a few days.

How long does it take a lip piercing to close after it's been pierced for 2 months?

There's no way to tell because everyone heals differently. 2 months is still pretty new so I wouldn't risk leaving it naked. If you have to take it out for work or something, put a clear glass retainer in it.

How long will it take for your belly button to heal up after ive had it periced?

For a navel piercing it may take 3 months to a year (sometimes a little longer) to completely heal. My navel only took 2 months for mine to heal. I was told it would take 4-6 months by the place I had it done. However, according to professionals, it can take up to a year to heal completely.

How long does it take for lip piercing to close up its only been done for bout 8 weeks?

8 weeks is still pretty young. But it depends on how you heal really. Dont leave the piercing naked unless you accept the possibility that it'll close up

How fast does it take for dimple piercings to close?

It depends on how fast your body heals and how new the piercing is. But even piercing that have been done for years can close in minutes. So there really isn't a way to tell how long it takes. So I would try to put jewelry in asap if you want them pierced.
