It depends on the person and the severity of the case. Mild or less severe forms can be treated within a few months. More severe forms could take a year or mroe to fully treat the patient and get them back into a healthy state. Just becasue treatment is done, that does not mean that the person is fully recovered. Certain factors like organ functions and hair loss / re-growth could take a very long time to become normal and healthy again, and in some cases they never do become fully healthy. Also, there is always a chance for relapse, so a person can never officially be declared "recovered" or "cured" from having anorexia.

I personally believe people never recover fully from anorexia nervosa. We learn to deal with the condition, but never actually recover.

Anorexia is usually a serious problem for about 5 to 10 years for most people. Habits and dangerous side effects can last an entire lifetime for most, though.

How can I get back to ballet after battle with anorexia How can i do it without hating my reflection and therfore what i do and the experience of ballet class How can i regain my love for ballet?

Is your battle with anorexia over? If yes, you shoul learn to love your body, just the way you are. You probably look the best you have done for a long time. I know, because i have only just got over anorexia, and doing ballet was the thing that helped me realise I am amazing just the way i am. You look at yourself in the mirror, and you should see an amazing ballet dancer staring back at you, instead of a gaunt person. If you REALLY have got over anorexia, then you should be able to take ballet damcing up again, and love your self just the way you are.
