NuvaRing

How effective is NuvaRing?

If 1,000 couples use Nuva Ring perfectly for a year, three will get pregnant. Since there are no perfect couples, pregnancy rates with typical use are higher than that, but there are no good data to date on typical failure rates with Nuva Ring. It's probably lower than typical failure rates with the pill, for which 8 pregnancies can occur among 100 couples using the pill for a year (higher for teens).

By not eating right, your body isn't getting all the nutrients it needs. Therefore, it tries to make up for it by taking them from other places in your body such as fat and muscle. Which is bad because unlike what many people think, you need fat, and you obviously need your muscle in tact. The lack of nutrients can also effect organs such as the heart, because it must work harder. Side effects of eating disorders include, yellow teeth, malnutrition, and heart attacks are a risk, and other serious problems.

Why are you not hungry when you are sick?

Because the bad bacteria inside your stomach which builds up day after day can, like all bacteria feed off both your internal bodily fluids and the food that is in your gut. As a precautionary measure, your gut stops producing fluids like excess saliva and produces more stomach acid, two things that it also does when you are full.

These lead your conscious mind to thing you aren't hungry. Its generally best not to eat anyway as you aren't only feeding your body, you're feeding the bug. If you must eat (anything over six hours) then eat plain brown bread, buttered if you cant handle it plain. Drink plenty of water too, this really helps your immune system.

When you purge how much food is retained?

That would be different for each person, each time. There's too many varying factors to give an exact ounce.

I would say very little, if any, but that is going to depend on how soon after eating you purged, what type of food it was, how long you attempted to purge, etc.

University education is less about vocational training and more about developing the skills and knowledge that enable the student to be competitive in a dynamic economy. In an economy that is undergoing dramatic technological and institutional changes, one must develop a strong foundation of basic skills (skills of communication, problem solving, analysis, computing) that allow the person to continually learn, to be able to adapt to a changing, and highly unpredictable, labor market. This strategy is superior to one where the student is narrowly trained for a specific type of employment. The B.A. in Economics is one of the most marketable degrees.

Although a job whose duties are economic in orientation often will require an advanced degree, the graduate with a B.A. in Economics is highly competitive for employment in all types of business and government. Studies reveal that Economics graduates earn some of the highest incomes among college graduates.

Business Economist Responsibilities include analysis of data, business and market forecasting and analysis of policy effects on firms and markets. The largest employers of business are firms in banking, securities and investments, business services and manufacturing.

Government Economist Responsibilities include policy analysis, analysis of government collected data, development of strategies for local/state economic development. Opportunities exist at all levels of government: federal, state and local.

Academic Economist Responsibilities include teaching, research, and consulting. (Generally, a Ph. D. is required for positions at a university.) A degree in Economics is also very good preparation for other career objectives (Graduate degrees in Business [MBA], Law, Public Policy, Public Administration, and Economics). For example, Economics graduates score among the highest on the LSAT, which is required for admission to Law School.

Dating someone with an eating disorder?

Don't let the fact that they have an eating disorder turn you off. You just need to let them know that they are perfect just they way they are, they may tell you that they don't believe you or that your only lying, it doesn't matter just keep telling them, you just really need to mean it. And let them know that you do. And if it gets too serious you need to tell someone because it can become fatal.

What is meant by alimentary nihilism in the origins of anorexia nervosa by joan jacbos brumberg?

According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, "alimentary" means "of or relating to nourishment or nutrition" and "nihilism" means "a doctrine or belief that conditions in the social organization are so bad as to make destruction desirable for its own sake independent of any constructive program or possibility." Can anorexia cause you to burp?

Actually, you don't burp or fart much at all when you don't eat, or eat very little. It's eating that causes it, not ana.

Edit: I'm Ana and speaking from experience I do tend to burp a lot when I do eat, It's a way for me to feel less full because I don't like the feeling of being full. Burping frequently also ends up causing more and more burping in the long run. I'm not sure why this happens but it has only started after I became Ana.
