Well if it's done by a professional body piercer, the discomfort will be very short lived maybe a bit tender off and on for a few hours. Done with a piercing gun the discomfort can be several days long, because the piercing gun is not meant to be used to piercer ear cartilage, nor is the stud designed for be used in cartilage piercings.
No it doesn't.
Yes, she has one ear piercing and one in the very top of her ear.
my mate had the top of her belly button pierced and said it was like a little sting and then got the bottom done and said it only hurt a little more then the top so i doubt it hurts that much
yes
No. As long as you take care of them and go to a clean and reputable shop, you should be fine. No more of a risk than lobes. Be sure to wash your hair often and change your pillowcase.
You're having your cartilage pierced... Some boys in my grade are teasing me about getting only one ear pierced at the top and i just dont know what to do or say to them. Ive got my lobe pierced on both ears though. Please tell me what theyre laughing at? Those guys are jerks.. I know TONS of girls who only get one ear pierced at the top. Honestly, i think it looks stupid if you get two. thanks for your answer i sort of lost a bit of confidence but then i relised screw them.
In the moment you get it pierced, it can hurt more than a regular ear lobe piercing. It's not as bad as other piercings, though. It's also fairly quick. The aftermath - the first couple of weeks and months - can be pretty harsh. Don't sleep or lean on it - it will be pretty sore. If its done with a piercing gun then yes it can. If it's done by a proffessional piercer with a needle than it shouldn't hurt at all. it will hurt when its healing for a couple weeks ---- well i got my first hole done (lobe) when i was 10, then i got my second(lobe ) when i was 12, and now im gonna be 13 and getting my top hole pierced, they didnt hurt at all! not even a pinch! i heard that someone almost passed out getting the barrbel but i wouldn't get that! (the bar threw the top of your ear ) but if you just get your top pierced without the bell it doesnt hurt much at all ive been told, the most a tiny pinch. the worst part is the after. if you sleep on the side it may hurt or get iratated but wont get infected, but if you wear cheap earings its possible too get a infection, i got that twice, it stinks too get a infection in your ear though, you cant hear well. it hurts like hell very unbarable. & you need too take lots of medicine im sure its like a 2 on the scale though of pain. hope this helps[:
I have my cartilage pierced and everyone said it would hurt SO much.. but i wanted it done so i did it anyways lol. & honestly to get it pierce it doesnt hurt.. you will obviously feel a little pinch but that's normal. After you get it done your ear will hurt for a while though.. you probably wont be able to sleep on which ever side you get pierced for about a month. After a month my ear was completely fine.. just make sure you clean it at least 3 times everyday. :)
I would assume that it would. It hurt to get my ears pierced so a lip piercing may hurt a little more. - - - I am 14 and I just had my lip done two days ago. It really doesn't hurt its a slight pinch when they put the needle through, nothing to worry about really ( : I had my lower left done and my friend had her upper right done hers hurt a bit more than mine but not exactly painful. I have had my ears done also. Two times at the top and once at the bottom and the top is the most painful piercing. They usually put this numbing spray on the inside of the selected area that you wish to have pierced and and icepack on the outer lip. The only thing that you might find annoying is that you lip swells up and might take up to 2 weeks in some cases for it to calm down but usually only takes a couple of days and their might be yellow puss but that's normal. I'm sure if you have it done they will explain everything but really it doesn't hurt. I hope this helps
Really it all depends on who pierces you ear and what they use. (needle or gun) Everyone's pain tolerance us different.
No, it is not safe or recommended to pierce a guinea pig's ears. This can cause pain, discomfort, and potential infection for the animal. It is always best to keep your guinea pig's well-being and health as a top priority.
