three to two years
About 1 to 2 hours depending on the hair and the stylist
Becoming a hair stylist does not take much time. Some good resources include http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-Hair-Stylist, http://www.spabeautyed.com/career-center/hair-stylist or http://hairstylescene.wordpress.com/2011/02/11/2011-hair-ideas-trends-and-tips/.
it takes nothing but a little cougare
It all depends on the stylist, their experience level, and YOUR hair. If you have a lot of hair, it will definitely take a lot longer than someone with shorter or thinner hair. I would guess an average at about one hour, but be prepared to pay more just to be on the safe side. If you want to be super sure, call your stylist and ask for an estimate to make sure you're fully prepared on the day of your appointment.
Maybe try and take a picture along and see if that helps..
If the hair extensions aren't clip-in, you should go back to your stylist & have him or her take them out so you don't damage or rip out your real hair.
Shoe shine highlights are when the stylist will hair spray the hair and comb it back so that the hair is sticking up. The stylist will then take a long strip of foil and paint some bleach onto it. Then they will bring the foil from the front of the hairline to the back. and will do the same all over so that all the spikes are covered. This normally on men that have short hair. This is a really good method because it will form spots on the hair which may happen if a stylist was going to use foils or the cap on really short hair.
Get a photo of him and take it to your stylist. He/she will most likely be able to cut your hair like his. :)
There is nothing you can do but take it as a lesson learned & wait for your hair to grow back. You need to, of course, inform the stylist & the manager/owner of the salon & let them know what happened. There is always that risk though & you know that any time you relax your hair.
Whether you are interested in having either Kate Gosselins "orginal " short and spikey hair, or her Winter 2010 longer locks, there are a few steps you can take to help your hair stylist replicate Kate Gosselin's look: 1. Bring in a picture (or several) of her hair next time you get a hair cut. 2. Ask your stylist if they have experience with hair extension or short hair. (They won't be offended, they want you to get the best hair for you!) 3.Through highlights and trimming, your stylist will be able to mimic Kate's hair. 4. Be sure to ask your stylists for tips on how to maintain your new look and to style it for the polished finish. If you need help practicing, don't be afraid to go back to your stylist after a week or so with your new doo for tips and a "styling lesson." You stylist is your professional consultant, and can help you figure out how to get the most from your hair!
you can take a picture of Bill Kaulitz along with you and just show it to the hair stylist
