Most excercises can be linked with the onset of muscle soreness, it depends upon how often the muscles are normally excersised and how strenuous the excercise regime was before the onset. If, say, you walk to work every day , you are less likely to have sore muscles if you do a workout on a treadmill for rather than if you never walk for long periods of time, it was more likely that your legs would be sore after some rest after the excersise. The same goes for most muscles in the body, lifting weights does not lead to sore arms if you mow the lawn every couple of weeks as your muscles are use to the excersise.
