If a human is buried in the ground in a quality coffin, it could take as much as 50 years for the body to decompose. If the body is buried in a cheap casket, decomposition and exposed to the elements, decomposition happens very quickly.
It takes about 1 year for a body to decay. or it takes 30-40 years to decompose
:)
it would take decades for the human body to disintegrate because your body is mostly made of minerals....
To put it simply...Forever

The most time it takes for biodegradable substances to disintegrate is 180 days.
There are more than two long bones in the skeleton but if you mean the two longest bones then the femur (longest) and tibia second longest).
depends what kind of animal you're comparing human skeletons with. well for the obvious kinds, the hand bones and leg bones differ, hip bones as well, and of course our skulls have several differences as well, in jaw size and structure as well as in skull shape and size (even when you compare it to gorillas or chimps, although sometimes it can be mistaken for them too)
There are 206 bones in an adult human skeleton, and there are many classifications, four mainly: Long bones, Short bones, Flat Bones, Irregular Bones. Sometimes a fifth category is added- Sesamoid Bones.

At birth, the majority of the human skeleton is mineralized bone, although there are still cartilage growth plates in all the long bones.
How long it takes for hair to disintegrate depends on several factors. The temperature, humidity, amount of hair, and the presence of keratin eating bacteria are all factors. On average it takes at least a year to disintegrate.
