Meat.last... chicken, veal, cow, . cooked, raw, temperature....where?

Lets generalize: in the fridge, at 5ºC, 3 days.

But, recently, some old cows meet is kept 3 months, and up to1 year and more. In France & Argentina, in few cases. I ate a 120 days cow meat.

This is a pretty broad question but I will give you a couple of refrigerated meat storage guidelines. Poultry 1-2 days Beef, veal, pork, lamb 3-5 days Ground beef and ground poultry 1-2 days Variety meats (liver, tongue, brain, kidneys, heart, chitterlings) 1-2 days

Meats do not last long in the refrigerator. Only about 3 to 4 days if it is raw. Then 1 to 2 days longer if cooked and placed in an airtight container. You should always cover meats when stored in the fridge.

well it depends if it is covered correctly like say you put two different kinds of meat and you cover them both but with different things one could work and one could not you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long meat will keep before it spoils depends upon a number of variables, including

  • what type of meat (raw, cooked, beef, pork, lamb, poultry, primal cut, consumer cut, etc)
  • storage (refrigerated, frozen or shelf stable)
  • packaging (canned, vacuum pack, store wrapping, etc.)
  • conditions under which it was handled and stored - from farm to table

If stored frozen, meat can keep for a very long time, though it can become rancid.

FDA's website has a 'REFRIGERATOR & FREEZER STORAGE CHART' which lists recommendations of shelf life for refrigerated and frozen items.

Meat can spoil at any temperature above freezing and below sterilization temperatures. The colder it is, the longer it takes to spoil.

Cooked meat should be good for 3 or 4 days if refrigerated.
