It all depends on what class of shipping was purchased, and when the parcel was sent. In the US, we can ship a parcel via the Postal Service to the UK and it takes about a week. There are other options as well. If you want to save money, send it via surface mail and ship it in early November. The rule I used to observe in shipping internationally for the holidays was to get it shipped by December 6th in order to assure delivery in time for Christmas.
