Food can stay on the warm setting in a crock pot for several hours. That is as long as the crock pot has stayed on the entire time. Some will automatically turn off. It should be fine for as long as eight hours on the warm setting. However, be aware that liquid will evaporate during this time.

∙ 16y agoOther than seafood soups as long as the slow cooker is placed in a fridge (which is doubtful you have done so) soups can be kept in the fridge for up to 5 days to a week (depending on what is in the soup.) If you have left the soup out for more than 24 hours in a heated kitchen then don't eat it! 'When in doubt throw it out!'
