Years if not decades. I have been off dope for 2 years and still to this day I think about it everyday. Best bet is to never start. You will never get over it. Most herion addicts die very young.

Personal experience... Anywhere from 4 to 24 hours depending on tolerance, how long you've been using, and the size and route of last dose.

If you snort or smoke it, wd starts about a day later, if you mainline (which was my route of choice) I was in full blown withdrawal within 4 or 5 hours after my last shot... Maintaining normalcy (not even a high) became rather expensive as my tolerance increased exponentially in a very short time once I started going IV.

I hope for your case, you are going through withdrawals on your way to cleaning up. Heroin ruins the person you were & makes you hope your next dose is the one that kills you.

The half life on heroin is nearly four to six hours. Thus, after four hours, fifty percent is gone from your system, and after roughly 12 hours, only 12.5% remains in the body. At about twelve hours or so, the withdrawals start to pick up, and they will be in full swing within twenty-four hours. If you don't have a shot within that time frame, the withdrawals will set in.

A Heroin addict will start having withdrawl symptoms as soon as they come down from the high they are currently on. Which causes extreme cramping, diareaha, depression, and nervous system issues. Until they use again, Once they use again they are fine until the come down its a vicious never ending cycle until you die or get help.

Yes. A large enough amount, but usually as all drugs and drug use go, every individual is different, and will always react differently to the substance. Interdependency is where two parties depend on one another: for example, you have a pen and I have paper: together we can write something.
