If you attend Aircraft maintenance school full-time the average time it will take you to complete and graduate is about 2 years.
As long as people like to go places, and as long as some of them are in a hurry to get there, there will always be a demand for skilled aircraft maintenance personnel.
A Mechanic is a person who has completed FAA-approved training and has been licensed to perform maintenance on aircraft. Their training allows them to perform general maintenance that includes repair of the engine, replace components, wiring of the aircraft and repairs to the structure. They have to have further training for more technical maintenance and computer trouble-shooting. A mechanic does everything that is needed to keep the aircraft in airworthy condition. Aircraft have checks and maintenance that is performed every day and very regularly. Then there is maintenance that is required at longer intervals. These "checks" are very detailed and require a long time to accomplish. For passenger airliners, a major check will require the aircraft to be out of service for 4 to 8 weeks as much of the aircraft is disassembled to obtain access to internal parts and components. Some tasks include X-raying parts of the wing to look for cracks. So any regular maintenance or repair that is accomplished on an aircraft can only be done by a certified aircraft mechanic.
Aviation and flight schools offers an aircraft mechanic training course. The Aviation Institute of Maintenance offers FAA-approved aviation mechanic technician maintenance training and they also have a financial aid as long as an individual qualifies for the aid.
an aging aircraft is any aircraft that has been around long enough to "age", say a 1955 Cessna 150, for a random example. But I think this is a very general term, so I may be wrong. Correct. The FAA began a program of special inspections and maintenance for a fleet of aircraft or an aircraft type that have reached a certain age. The FAA has issued Airwothiness Directives(AD's) that require special maintenance on these older aircraft. Link to FAA: http://www.faa.gov/aircraft/air_cert/design_approvals/transport/Aging_Aircraft/
Extremely safe This varies according to the skill of the flight crew and the quality of the aircraft's maintenance. The FAA have very strict guidelines on flight crew training and aircraft maintenance and repair, and so long as all of these guidelines are being followed flying in an airplane is for the most part very safe. Much more safe than driving on the streets in fact.
The average esthetics school training is 10 months. Some go as long as 12 months.
yes, as long as you complete the prereq requirements
2 months for recruiting school.
CNA school programs vary between 6-12 weeks long, depending on the concentration of course material.
i think they get homeschooled but not for a long time because there all so famous but all people famous or not have to complete high school
What's normal? there are many different aircraft
the school is real self paced, it usually takes about a month and a half to complete
