Although we, as I mean me and my friend, haven't beat the game ourselves yet I have found an article on escapistmagizine.com containing this paragraph written by Tom Goldman posted on 24 September 2009 8:48 am,
"Borderlands is not going to be a quick run through the desert if Mikey Neumann, Creative Director at Gearbox Software, is to be believed. Neumann has played to level 50 twice, and says that it took him 100 hours the first time, and even more the second time because he was trying to complete all of the game's missions."
