for one billion hours that's why it cost so much for dehydrated food.
Months to years, if the food is properly dehydrated in a food dehydrator. Use a dehydrator to remove the food's moisture, allow the food to cool after drying and then store the food in an airtight container.
The length of time it takes to dehydrate food will depend upon the food you are drying and the method you choose. There are books written on the subject of dehydrating foods and I won't try to write one here.
Whatever method is used, the storage after drying is critical. Generally, the packaging should be airtight and the food should be stored in a cool area away from light.

Allow your fruit to dehydrate anywhere from six to 16 hours, depending on the level of heat of your method of dehydration. Check your fruit for moisture to determine how long to continue to dehydrate. It should be leathery with no moisture or softness on any of its parts.
It takes about 5 hours for chicken and turkey to dehydrate at 150-200 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven. It takes about 4-7 hours for beef to dehydrate in the oven. It takes 12-72 hours under 150 degrees Fahrenheit in a smoker. It can take up to 18 hours in a radiant food dehydrator. In a regular food dehydrator it can take about 8 hours.
I would like to know what temperature and for how long it takes to dehydrate marshmallows.... I have a dehydrator...
It will take many of hours if you are without water. Note if you are overheated and perspiring a lot, you can dehydrate much faster than if you are cool and not perspiring.
yes
Its possible, if they are in there for long enough.
This is not a question with a concrete answer, because it depends on a LOT of factors. Desert species tend to get most of their moisture from the food they eat. If they don't have food available, they will dehydrate a lot faster. In addition, it depends on whether they have a cooler, humid place to retreat to (such as a burrow), as high heat and dryness will cause them to dehydrate faster.
1 is to put it in a dehydrater 2 is to put out in the sun
Milk doesn't dry; if it dries, it's not milk.
